FilingLens does not collect, transmit, or store:
— Your browsing history or the URLs you visit (it does not read the page you are on)
— The tickers or companies you search — these are never sent to us
— Personal information of any kind
— Cookies, tracking identifiers, or analytics data
FilingLens stores a few preferences locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local): your Pro activation flag, your chosen theme, and your recent-ticker list (used to order the quick tags). This data never leaves your device and is not shared with any server.
When you look up a ticker, the extension fetches that company's public filings directly from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's EDGAR system (sec.gov). These are public documents. The request goes from your browser straight to the SEC — we never see it — and contains only what any browser sends; it does not include your identity or any personal information. The SEC's own privacy policy governs requests to sec.gov.
If you choose to activate Pro, the extension sends only the license-key string you entered to our verification endpoint (license-proxy.mumuquant.workers.dev), which checks it with the Payhip payment API. No filing content, no tickers, and no browsing data are included in this request.
host access to sec.gov — fetch the public filings you request. Nothing else is accessed.
storage — save your Pro flag, theme, and recent tickers locally.
FilingLens requests no access to the pages you browse, and no tabs or scripting permissions.
FilingLens contacts only two services: the SEC's public EDGAR system (to fetch filings) and, for Pro users, the license-verification endpoint described above. No analytics, no telemetry, no advertising networks.
FilingLens does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
