Privacy Policy

Short version: PDFMark does not collect, store, or transmit your PDF files or any of their contents. Everything stays on your device.

What PDFMark does NOT collect

PDFMark does not collect, transmit, or store:

โ€” Your PDF files or any content within them
โ€” Your browsing history or visited URLs
โ€” Personal information of any kind
โ€” Cookies, tracking identifiers, or analytics data

Local storage only

When you open a PDF in PDFMark, the file is stored temporarily in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local) solely to pass the file from the popup to the viewer tab. This data never leaves your device and is not shared with any server.

License key verification (Pro only)

If you choose to activate a Pro license, the extension sends your license key to the Payhip payment API (payhip.com/api/v2/license/verify) for validation. No PDF content, browsing history, or personal information is included in this request โ€” only the license key string you entered.

Permissions used

activeTab โ€” used to detect the current tab context. No tab content is read or transmitted.
storage โ€” temporarily holds the PDF file bytes locally for the viewer session. Cleared after use.

Third-party services

PDFMark makes no third-party network requests except the optional Payhip license verification described above. No analytics, no telemetry, no advertising networks.

Children's privacy

PDFMark does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
