PrivaSnap does not collect, transmit, or store:
— Your screenshots or any image data
— Your browsing history or visited URLs
— Personal information of any kind
— Cookies, tracking identifiers, or analytics data
Screenshots captured by PrivaSnap are stored temporarily in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local) solely to pass the image from the capture process to the annotation editor. This data never leaves your device and is cleared after the annotation session ends.
If you choose to activate a Pro license, the extension sends your license key to the Payhip payment API (payhip.com/api/v2/license/verify) for validation. No screenshot data, browsing history, or personal information is included in this request. The request contains only the license key string you entered.
activeTab — captures the visible content of the current tab on demand, only when you click the capture button.
scripting — injects an overlay for area selection and controls page scrolling during full-page capture. No persistent scripts.
storage — temporarily holds the screenshot image locally for the annotation editor.
PrivaSnap makes no third-party network requests except the optional Payhip license verification described above. No analytics, no telemetry, no advertising.
PrivaSnap does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
