Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By installing or using any MoonStack browser extension (each, the "Extension"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Extension. These Terms apply to all MoonStack extensions, including 旁注 (Marginalia), PrivaSnap, PDFMark, ReddiSense, and FilingLens.

2. What the Extensions do

MoonStack extensions are local-first tools: their core processing happens inside your browser. Some extensions fetch public data directly from its source at your request — for example, SEC EDGAR filings (FilingLens) or Reddit posts (ReddiSense). MoonStack does not run a backend that stores your content.

3. Your own API keys

Some features rely on a key or subscription you provide — for example, your own Claude subscription (Marginalia) or your own OpenAI/Anthropic/DeepSeek key for an optional AI summary (ReddiSense). Any such key is stored locally in your browser and is never transmitted to MoonStack. You are solely responsible for all usage and costs associated with your own keys.

4. No investment advice

Extensions that surface financial information (such as ReddiSense and FilingLens) provide public data for informational purposes only. Nothing in any Extension constitutes financial, investment, or trading advice. You are solely responsible for your own decisions.

5. Payments

Core features are free. Where an Extension offers a "Pro" tier, Pro is a one-time purchase processed through Payhip — not a subscription. There is no auto-renewal and no recurring charge. A Pro license is activated by entering your license key in the Extension.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Extensions are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. MoonStack does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data an Extension displays, and availability of third-party sources (e.g. SEC EDGAR or Reddit) may affect delivery.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MoonStack shall not be liable for any trading losses, data inaccuracies, or service interruptions arising from use of the Extensions.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of an Extension after changes constitutes acceptance.
